Have you ever admired the characters on book covers, in cartoons, or comics and wondered how they come to life? This workshop is your chance to dive into the art of character building and digital illustration. Tay will guide you through the creative process, helping you bring your unique ideas to life with confidence and style.

Tay Marie is an Illustrator and Visual Development Artist, and small business owner of handmade jewelry, from Nassau, The Bahamas.
She graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration (2022), and has since been creating anything that transcends reality and reignites your inner child, from fantasy concepts to trippy scenes and portraits.
You can find her working on her latest project with cartoons or the band ‘Sticky Fingers’ playing in the background, while her two cats practice their WWE moves.

Your own tech (ipad, laptop, tablet)
Tay will be using Procreate to lead the workshop. However, if you’re more comfortable with another program (such as Illustrator, GIMP, Sketchbook, etc.), you’re more than welcome to join and use your preferred tools.
Alternatively, you can also use traditional drawing supplies such as pen and paper.
