Workshops - Refund & Cancellation Policy
When you register and pay for a workshop (also referred to as Class, Private Class/Workshop, Tutoring), you agree to the following terms.
Cancellation Policy – No Refunds, but Credit or Transfer Option Available
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to offer flexibility while keeping our workshops accessible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
No Refunds:
Once payment has been made for a workshop, we do not offer refunds.
Credit for Future Workshops:
If you are unable to attend your scheduled workshop, you must notify us at least 7 days before the workshop date via email at info@hillsidehousegallery.com. By doing so, you will receive a credit that can be used for a future workshop.
You can reschedule via the scheduling application accessible through the confirmation email you received when you signed up for the class.
The credit must be redeemed within 1 month from the original workshop date and is subject to availability.
No Credit for Cancellations Within 7 Days:
If you cancel less than 7 days before the workshop or fail to attend, you will not receive any credit or refund.
Collaboration Events:
Please note that workshops that are part of a collaboration event will not be eligible for credit or refunds, regardless of cancellation notice.
Transferring Tickets to Another Person
You are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to attend. The person receiving the transfer must be 18 years or older. You must transfer to an age-appropriate individual for the class (e.g., no one under 18 allowed at figure drawing). Please notify us via email with the new attendee’s name at least 24 hours prior to the workshop.
Late Arrivals
Arriving late to a workshop impacts the flow of the session. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the workshop begins, you will be considered a no-show and your seat will be forfeited. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued for late arrivals.
Non-Transferable Credits
Workshop credits cannot be redeemed for cash or used for merchandise purchases. Credits are strictly for future workshops and must be used within the time frame specified.
Special Guest Workshops
For workshops hosted by visiting or out-of-town instructors, no credits or transfers will be offered, even with advanced notice. These workshops are one-time-only events and subject to their own cancellation policies.
Rescheduling Policy (Organizer Initiated)
If we must cancel or reschedule a workshop for any reason (not including workshops hosted by visiting or out-of-town instructors), you will be offered the option to reschedule to a future workshop or receive a refund.
How to Use Credits
To use your workshop credit, please email us at info@hillsidehousegallery.com with your preferred workshop date, and we will apply the credit to your registration.
