  • Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring more items than you plan to take home. Those extras will be added to the swap pool, creating a wider variety for everyone to choose from. It’s a great way to share and contribute!

  • Yes! We encourage you to bring your clothes throughout January. Early drop-offs give our team enough time to carefully sort, organize, and prepare everything to ensure a smooth and enjoyable swap event for everyone.

We will also be accepting clothes on the day of the swap.

  • All unswapped items will be donated to local charities or thrift stores, so nothing goes to waste. By participating, you’re supporting both a sustainable wardrobe and the community.

  • Unlimited swapping is a unique feature of our clothing swap event that gives participants the freedom to take home as many items as they want from the swap pool—within a capped limit of 15 pieces per person. This approach is designed to encourage generosity, sustainability, and a sense of community, while still ensuring fairness for all. By setting this limit, we ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to refresh their wardrobe, while still allowing you the freedom to take as many items as you'd love—without going overboard

  • That’s the beauty of unlimited swapping! Once you're in, you have the freedom to take as many items as you’d like from the swap pool—within a capped limit of 15 pieces. This means you can take home as many clothes as you love, regardless of how many items you initially contributed.

  • We’ll have staff and volunteers monitoring the event to ensure no one takes excessive amounts or behaves unfairly. The goal is for everyone to have fun and leave with pieces they’re excited about!

How the swap will run

  1. Check-In and Sorting:

    • When you arrive on Jan 25th, you’ll check in and pay the swap fee based on the number of garments you’ve brought (3 for $15, 5 for $20, or unlimited for $30).

    • You can bring more items than you plan to swap. Any extra items will be put into the general pool for others to enjoy. This helps create an abundant and diverse selection for everyone!

  2. Garment Inspection:

    • At check-in, volunteers or staff will inspect the garments to ensure they meet the event’s standards (clean, gently used, free of significant damage). Approved items will then be added to the swap racks or tables.

  3. Swap Racks/Tables:

    • All items will be organized by category (e.g., tops, dresses, pants, accessories) to make browsing easy and fun.
